Ms. Abby trained at the Metropolitan Ballet Theare in the Washington, D.C. area under the instruction of Suzanne Erlon, soloist of the New York City Ballet & principal with Ballet West, who was taught by Balanchine himself. She attended the prestigious University of Arizona as a dance major, training under Melissa Lowe, Susan Quinn and participating in the Arizona Jazz Dance Showcase under the instruction of Nan Giordano.

Ms. Abby danced for the NFL as a Washington Redskins Cheerleader, earning distinctions as Captain, choreographer & Pro Bowl representative. She coached the Redskins Cheerleaders training program. She has traveled to Hong Kong to perform in the Chinese New Years Parade & to India for the IPL Cricket league. Ms. Abby has traveled on 12 USO military appreciation tours, including to countries Iraq & Afghanistan.

She has over 10 years' experience teaching adults and children in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, contemporary, heels, poms and preschool dance classes. Ms. Abby was the founder and artistic director of Allure Dance DC, an adult dance company in the DC Metro area. She founded and instructed Dance Spirit Studios, a children's dance studio. Now she is thrilled to bring her talents and experience to Colorado with Prima Dance.

Ms. Abby is married to Dan, a B2 Test pilot & commercial pilot, with whom she has 3 beautiful daughters - who all want to be "flying ballerinas."
